Summer is an incredible time of year down under! Not only are Australian beaches packed but the cities carry rapturous ambiance. This summer has been one of the hottest to date with temperatures consistently soaring above 40°C (104°F).
With increasing temperatures, comes heightened expectations! Therefore, I have teamed up with the incredible team at Country Road to showcase three key looks for this summer. These looks are my go-to's this summer from work events to your family BBQ.
SoHo is home to the world’s greatest collection of cast-iron architecture. But more than that, SoHo is unique among New York’s neighborhoods for its classical French and Italian architectural designs. It simply doesn’t look like anywhere else, not even the neighboring West Village or Lower East Side.
An iceberg blue blazer is both comfortable and practical. The blue tones compliment neutral colour shorts and is topped off with a crisp white shirt to really elevate the blazer. This outfit is perfect for your semi-casual outdoor activities.
As a rule of thumb, I try my best to mix a darker garment with something lighter in a single outfit. A navy linen shirt is one of the most versatile yet simple garments. Here, I've matched it with a stone colour short which is another item that boasts adaptability. Ideal for 'Casual Friday' or a more casual weekend outing.
Khaki green is another colour I'm really trying to work into my wardrobe that works with almost every other colour, including white, grey and softer blues. The Linen shorts are light fabric for those warmers days when I known a whole lot of Vitamin D is on the cards. Paired with a plain white t-shirt to really emphasis the green.
